Dell Inspirons are one of the hottest new laptops out there and, to date, there are only a few models with the same chassis as the HP envy 700.
Now, there is a new model with a similar chassis, but with a different chassis processor, processor speed, and keyboard.
Dell has put out a new HP Envy 700 laptop chassis that is also called the Inspiron 700S, and is the same model as the Inspirions in the previous lineup.
The new Envy 7 700 chassis has an upgraded processor, which is Intel’s Broadwell-E CPU, the same core as the Intel Core i7-7700HQ and Core i5-8400HQ, but the CPU speed is now boosted to a new Turbo Boost up to 2.3GHz, while the keyboard is now aluminum with a gold finish.
Dell also added an external webcam, and the display is now a 7-inch HD touchscreen display with 1280×800 resolution.
Dell doesn’t have a new price for this new model, but you can get it for $1,799 with a 2TB SSD drive.
The Inspiron 7 700 is available starting tomorrow, April 17, for $899.
Dell Inspires are typically more expensive than their HP counterparts, and there are two new Inspires with the Envy 7000 chassis, the HP Inspiron 8700 and the HP E1.
