Ford is looking to take a step forward with the 2018 Fusion SE, which debuted at CES last week.
The brand is launching a limited-edition version of the car that will be available exclusively in the Midwest.
The 2018 Fusion will debut at the 2017 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
Ford says that the 2018 model will be the first to be produced in Michigan, which it says has been the region’s most reliable and attractive for manufacturing since it was the original home of Ford.
The Fusion SE will have a base price of $46,395, a price increase of $1,000 for each of the next three years.
The new Fusion will be offered with two different engines, the EcoBoost and the V6, with an option for the optional 3.5-liter V6.
Ford is selling the Fusion SE at dealerships throughout the Midwest, and it will be on sale at dealers in mid-March.
