The Tata Group has announced the introduction of the first fully electric Tata Nano chassis, which will be built on the same technology as the upcoming Tata XS100 chassis.
The Tata Nano is an affordable and powerful electric compact SUV, which has been designed by Tata Group, India’s biggest carmaker.
It will be available with a range of about 300 km on the highway, and is the only SUV that Tata has built from scratch in India.
Tata has a manufacturing facility in Bangalore and plans to start selling the Nano in 2019.
The Nano is a modular SUV with a wide range of options, including an optional diesel engine.
The Nano is designed to fit into the market of the Indian market, with an estimated sales of 2.4 lakh units in 2021.
The first Tata Nano to hit the road in India will be a version with a diesel engine, which Tata hopes will help the Nano appeal to the Indian public, which are known for their fondness for petrol.
Tata’s diesel engine is powered by an electric motor and uses hydrogen.
Totas Nano, the first electric SUV that will be sold in India in 2019, has been launched on September 15.
